The Ratchet connects the Blade to the Bit. Its name is two numbers: prongs-height. A 3-60 has three prongs and a height of 6.0 mm.
Why it matters
Lower Ratchets keep a top close to the floor, which changes where the Blade makes contact. The prongs also affect how easily a top can be knocked apart.
